Enter ADLINK’s new AI smart factory solution.  Developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, this joint solution officially launched during GTC.  Designed specifically to meet the industrial manufacturing industry’s increasingly critical and complex demands, the impact and benefits of this solution satisfy multiple use cases.  The primary use case for this intelligent solution is the simulation of product defects and AI video analytics to optimize automation.  Additional use cases include AI production inspection, personnel safety checks and digital twins.  Furthermore, this new AI solution will enhance predictive capabilities, boost production quality, and ensure quality assurance and efficiency.

To ensure quality assurance, ADLINK has implemented its AI-Powered Six-Sided Product Case Inspection, which utilizes the DLAP-411-Orin, an edge AI platform powered by the NVIDIA^® Jetson AGX Orin™ module.   This solution uses NVIDIA^® Omniverse to inspect external defects before product shipments.   By significantly improving inspection accuracy to 99.6% and reducing inspection time by 80%, this results in much higher yield rates and fewer rejections.   This enables factories to diminish the requirement for defect samples in AI model training.

In addition, the NEON-2000 JNX Series AI Smart Camera integrates the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX to ensure effective accessory inspection during the product packaging process.  This camera, deployable out of the box, uses joint synergy to deliver optimal AI visual inspection performance.  Furthermore, this NEON smart camera uses Edge Vision Analytics Software (EVA), which is a GUI-based platform.  In high voltage testing areas, AI recognition systems developed with EVA Software ensure that workers comply with safety standards and wear required personal protective equipment, effectively reducing the risk of electric shock and fire.

Finally, to address the complexity of modern production processes, ADLINK’s AI Smart Factory delivers digital twins achieved by the fusion of NVIDIA Omniverse with ADLINK’s AI Edge Server. By providing real-time visualization, it brings fortified predictive capabilities, early defect detection, and a key to resolving potential production bottlenecks.
